I current think this is a upstream "won't fix" thing and I am availing to switch to another terminal, but I didn't any decision yet. The two options I have in mind are: x11/sterm and x11/mlterm. I have x11/sterm installed already but didn't test it yet.

- I am a new user to awesomewm (but have used other WMs before: i3, bspwm, xmonad, etc). I like to have some shell scripts that I have written in my wibar (I think that's what its called, the bar at the top of the screen with the taglist) to display stuff like battery, audio, etc (as I know is common).

Feb 25, 2019 · I was curious about the bspwm window manager, and discovered that Manjaro actually has a spin of it in the Community Editions, so I decided to give it a try. It's actually very nice as configured, reminds me of using the likes of dwm, spectrwm, i3, etc., only even better.
- Its placed in the proper location in the ~/.config/bspwm folder. My config file is a fresh vanilla bspwmrc file which by default sets 10 workspaces. The only thing I have in the config file is my polybar script being launched solely for a visual cue to see how many workspaces I have.
